Xmanager is a software that can remotely connect to Linux servers on Windows systems and use a graphical interface. It allows users to easily run Linux applications in a Windows environment, improving work efficiency and convenience. However, sometimes users may encounter some problems, such as Xmanager not being able to retrieve the graphical interface, or Xmanager not knowing how to exit after opening the graphical interface.

There may be several reasons why Xmanager cannot output the graphical interface:

1. The Linux server has not installed or started the X Window System

The X Window system is a graphical interface system for Linux systems. Without installation or startup, Xmanager cannot connect and display graphical interfaces.

The solution is to install or start the X Window System on a Linux server.

2. The firewall or security policy of the Linux server is blocking the connection of Xmanager

Xmanager needs to use TCP port 3389 to transmit data for the graphical interface. If the firewall or security policies of the Linux server prohibit access to these ports, Xmanager will not be able to connect and display the graphical interface.

The solution is to configure a firewall or security policy on the Linux server to allow Xmanager connections.

3. Xmanager's configuration or settings are incorrect

Xmanager has some configuration or setting options, such as server address, login method, session type, etc. If filled in incorrectly or improperly, Xmanager will not be able to connect and display the graphical interface.

The solution is to check and modify the configuration or settings of Xmanager to ensure they are correct and suitable for your needs.

How to exit Xmanager after opening the graphical interface?

After Xmanager opens the graphical interface, there are two ways to exit:

1. Exit the current single graphical interface, but maintain other connections

If you only need to disconnect the current connection but keep other connections, you can click the cross at the end of the tag to close a single connection. Closing this tag will only disconnect the current connection and does not affect the normal use of other connections.

2. Exit the graphical interface and disconnect all remote connections

This method is suitable for you who have already completed all the work and no longer need to use a graphical interface and remote connection. You can directly click on the Xmanager window to disconnect all connections. Before closing, Xmanager will remind you how many hosts are currently connected, and you can click "OK" to close all connections.
