Introduction

Wallpaper Engine is a dynamic wallpaper software developed by Kristjan Skutta. Unlike other forms of wallpaper software, Wallpaper Engine allows users to create wallpaper styles that meet their personal needs through deep customization or editing of its engine.

Supports various types of wallpapers, including 2D and 3D animations, websites, videos, and even certain applications.

Major function

The Wallpaper Engine allows users to use dynamic wallpapers on their Windows desktop. Supports various types of wallpapers, including 3D and 2D animations, websites, videos, and even certain applications.

Users can use the built-in Wallpaper Editor for deep editing to create their own wallpapers. The use of Wallpaper Editor to create 2D image based wallpapers requires users to have some knowledge of image processing software such as GIMP and Photoshop. Of course, if you want to import 3D models, you also need to master modeling software such as 3ds Max, Maya, or Modo. The video wallpaper will require you to provide a set of video file materials, and the imported video format supports MP4 and WebM (Creative Workshop); WebM, avi, m4v, mov, wmv, (local file).

Supports multi-dimensional environmental monitoring. When users are operating or playing full-screen games (including borderless window mode), the Wallpaper Engine can automatically pause or continue running according to the user's settings.
