TeamViewer is a simple and fast solution that can be used for remote control of applications, desktop sharing, and file transfer in the background of any firewall and NAT proxy. In order to connect to another computer, you only need to run TeamViewer on both computers at the same time, without the need for installation (you can also choose to install, and after installation, you can set it to boot and run). The software automatically generates partner IDs on two computers for the first time. Just enter your partner's ID into TeamViewer and the connection will be established immediately.

Operating Steps

To perform remote control, both computers must first execute TeamViewer. After running TeamViewer, the server of TeamViewer will automatically assign you an ID and password. The ID is fixed, but the password is random and will vary each time it is executed. On the left is your ID and password (if the other party wants to actively connect with you, please tell them), and on the right, enter the other party's ID (continuous input without spaces) to connect to the other party.

In the latest version, the function of setting a personal password has been added. In the password input box, you can see the password option and set a personal password. This way, as long as you remember the ID and password, the password will remain unchanged whether you log in or out in the future, which is more convenient.

Select the "Remote support" connection method to display the other party's desktop on your computer, and you can control the other party's computer as if you were in front of it. (There will also be a small control window in the bottom right corner of the other party's desktop, which can let them know who is the person who is connecting, and control "end the connection" and "chat".)

TeamViewer includes rich encryption based on RSA private/public key exchange and AES (256 bit) session encoding. This technology is based on the same standard as https/SSL and is considered completely secure by current standards.

Access protection

In addition to the PartnerID, TeamViewer also generates a session password that changes every time the software starts, providing additional security protection to prevent unauthorized access to remote systems.

1. It can support family and friends and access unattended computers (Windows, Mac, Linux).

2. Easily control the remote computer using multiple touch methods, including pressing the left mouse button, pressing the right mouse button, dragging and dropping, scrolling, zooming, changing screen size, and more.

3. Complete keyboard control, including special keys such as Ctrl, Alt, and Windows.

4. Easily use firewalls and proxy servers to access your computer.

5. Remote restart.

6. In the new version of TeamViewer 8, new features are added: listen to and watch dynamic events on remote computers, including system sound, music, or videos.
