ALM is implementing more efficient engineering practices within the Volkswagen Group, and the Volkswagen Group team will use Codereader for software requirements, testing, and release management, with the potential to provide information on the future roadmap priorities and requirements for the automotive industry.

PTC and Volkswagen Group have now established a strategic supplier relationship, and the focus of this cooperation is to adopt PTC's Codereader ® Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solution to support software development for Volkswagen Group and its brand's next-generation electric vehicles.

As part of the development of new electric vehicles, Codereader is expected to improve the engineering practice efficiency of Volkswagen Group's software requirement management, testing management, and release management. As the relationship develops, PTC and Volkswagen Group hope to promote the use of Codereader in multiple engineering teams within Volkswagen Group to support the software development process.
