We have updated the integrated application and dedicated template application for the ONLYOOFFICE Community and Enterprise editions of Odoo. The new version focuses on more flexible shared permission management, optimized form creation functionality, and expanded format support.
Odoo Enterprise Edition
Open documents through links for shared access
Now, users can directly open documents in the ONLYOOFFICE editor through shared links for viewing. This greatly simplifies the collaboration process with external users and partners - document access can be shared without granting them full access to the Odoo system.
Advanced Sharing Permissions
You can now assign advanced access permissions:
Text document: Shared for review or comment only
Spreadsheet: Granting comment only permission or allowing editing but not changing filters
Presentation: Sharing for comments only
PDF file: Only forms are allowed to be filled out
Path: Select File → Share
This update also introduces the batch sharing permission configuration function, which supports setting access permissions for multiple files at once.
Form library containing ready-made templates
Odoo documents now have a built-in form library, allowing users to directly access a wealth of ready-made form template resources.
You don't need to create documents, spreadsheets, or presentations from scratch. You can choose existing templates from the library and continue working on them in the ONLYOOFFICE editor - editing text, adjusting layouts, and customizing documents to meet your business needs.
After selecting the template, it will open directly in the editor and can be modified just like editing other documents.
Path: New → Create with ONLYOOFFICE → Create from Template
Now, you can directly open the document preview in the ONLYOOFFICE editor and review it before adding it to the editor.
Document modification history
This integrated component now supports saving the complete document modification history. The team can use this to track editing records, view historical versions, and if necessary, restore the early state of the document.

Odoo Community Edition
Disable certificate verification
Add an option for administrators to disable certificate verification, which is very practical in testing environments or custom infrastructure deployment scenarios where trusted certificates are not configured.
ONLYOOFFICE can directly establish a connection with the document server without the need for additional manual certificate configuration. Administrators only need to check the corresponding checkbox to bypass the certificate verification process.

Extended format support
This update significantly expands the list of supported file formats, including:
View chart files: VSDX, VSSX, VSTX, VSDM, VSSM, VSTM
View ODG and MD files
Edit XLSB spreadsheet
Other optimizations
Regarding panel optimization and text updates for settings
Newly added blank file templates for Taylorian, Danish, Hungarian, Indonesian, and Romanian languages
ONLYOOFFICE Template Application
Form field editing control
To protect the template structure, a new setting has been added for administrators to disable form field editing. After enabling this option, users can only fill in preset fields, while the layout and structure of the form will remain unchanged.

Form Template Library
The form library has been synchronized and launched in the template application, making it convenient for users to reuse and manage form based templates.

PDF to Form Conversion Function
Now, when creating or modifying templates, PDFs can be converted into fillable forms, greatly improving the efficiency of the form creation process. When creating or modifying templates, simply upload the existing PDF file and then optimize it using the ONLYOOFFICE form generator.
Built in Help Center
A built-in help center has been added to the template application, providing detailed guidance on template creation, editing, and usage to help new users quickly get started and assist teams in completing template application implementation more quickly.
