For users who often need to perform music notation operations, a useful notation software can improve the efficiency of our notation work. In the field of music notation software, I chose Sibelius as my main software. It can not only help us improve efficiency in the process of sheet music, but also quickly export sheet music to a specific format.
1、 How to play Sibelius' double voice
Vocal section is a common concept in music theory, referring to independent melodic lines in music. Each part of the melody can be played by a separate instrument or performer, and in the process of music performance, the double vocal section can bring better music production effects.
1. Open the Sibelius software to enter the main page, where you can select the music score template we need to create later. Here, we take the piano performance creation template as an example.

2. After selecting the piano score template, click to enter the score settings interface. Here, we can set the tempo of the sheet music to the commonly used 4/4 tempo. After selecting the corresponding tempo, click [Create] at the bottom of the page to enter the main page of sheet music.

3. After entering the main page of music score editing, we can use the notes in the Sibelius keyboard to perform notation operations. On the keyboard, you can see two numbers, [1] and [2], which represent the two voices of Sibelius. We can manually select the voice parts that need to be recorded and perform cross notation operations.

4. When creating a two-part score, we can also use the 'Complete Score' function in Sibelius to preview the content of the voice parts we have written. Click on 'File' on the main page, and then jump to the 'Information' interface to preview the relevant information of the arrangement.

Harmony in music refers to a combination of two or more identical sounds that are produced simultaneously according to certain musical rules, and is widely used in the process of notation.
1. When we need to score four part harmonies in Sibelius, we first click to enter the main page of the software. In the main page's keypad, you can see four numbers [1, 2, 3, 4] representing the four voice parts.

When we need to edit the harmony of four parts, we need to click back and forth on these four parts, and use the functional attributes of different parts to arrange and score. We previously discussed the definition of harmony notation, and here we can incorporate different notes into the score to achieve better notation effects.
