Xmanager is a powerful remote desktop management software that allows users to connect and control Linux or Unix servers on a Windows system. Xmanager can perform operations such as file transfer, printing, clipboard sharing, etc., improving work efficiency and convenience.

How to export Xmanager files?

Xmanager file export refers to copying or moving files or folders opened in Xmanager to the local Windows system. There are two ways to export Xmanager files: one is to use Xftp function that comes with Xmanager, and the other is to use Xmanager's shared folder function. Below are the operational steps for each of these two methods.

Method 1: Export files using Xftp

Xftp is a component of Xmanager that enables file transfer between Xmanager and the local Windows system. The steps to export files using Xftp are as follows:

1. Open an Xshell session in Xmanager and connect to the target Linux or Unix server.

2. In an Xshell session, click the Xftp icon on the toolbar or press Ctrl+F to start Xftp.

3. In Xftp, you will see the file browser for the local Windows system on the left and the file browser for remote Linux or Unix servers on the right.

4. In the file browser on the right, find the file or folder you want to export and drag it to the left to complete the file export.

Method 2: Export files using a shared folder

Shared folder is a feature of Xmanager that allows users to create a virtual network drive in Xmanager, mapping a folder from the local Windows system to a remote Linux or Unix server, enabling bidirectional access to files.

Xmanager cannot find the default font path refers to an error message that appears when opening an Xstart session in Xmanager and connecting to a remote Linux or Unix server's graphical interface, causing the graphical interface to not display properly.

The reason for this issue may be due to Xmanager being installed in a path that contains Chinese characters. To solve this problem, you can try reinstalling the Xmanager software, making sure to install it in a directory that does not contain Chinese.
