This is likely due to a permissions issue.

1. If the MapInfo Pro setup.exe is available then follow these steps:

• Go to the installer file of MapInfo Pro on the machine
• Double click on "setup.exe".
• It would show three option (i.e Modify,Repair, Remove)
• Select 'Remove' option and click 'Next'.
• This action will uninstall MapInfo Pro from machine.

2. If MapInfo Pro setup.exe is not available then you can try to uninstall the MapInfo Pro application silently:

Type the following in Run Window
msiexec.exe /x {<UninstallKey>} /q

<UninstallKey> : The uninstall key(product code) is unique to each version of MapInfo Pro. 
These keys are in the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\
Copy the key and replace in the above command.

The Uninstall Key will be something similar to D25E6D07-2118-4413-8031-E9383621D139 (For reference purpose only)
